Linda was a loving, kind, generous and supportive woman with a heart of gold but a very feisty spirt. She was always very proud of her daughter’s work ethic and all she has accomplished. Linda had a green thumb and could grow any plant. She enjoyed gardening. She also loved cooking special foods for the family such as fried shrimp, macaroni and cheese, fatback and biscuits were among the favorite’s.

Linda and her sisters were together often for special occasions and shopping or lunches. They shared a very strong bond throughout their lives, instilled by their mother who loved all family and taught her five daughters to always be supportive and love one another. Linda loved life and lived it to the fullest of her ability. She had the ability to see the need for an act of kindness and do it before others even knew a need existed. She had a passion for bingo. She had an inner strength to carry on during trials and tribulations and was very devoted and protective of those she loved. She will be missed and live forever in our hearts.

A private family gathering is planned to celebrate her and share our memories as Linda desired no funeral service. Condolences from family and friends can be shared here.
