WILMINGTON — John Edward Yow, age 95 of Wilmington, NC, sadly passed away at Liberty Commons of Wilmington in the early morning of April the 7th, 2022.
John was born on October 19, 1926 to the late Edgar Lee and Yuanita Elizabeth Yow in High Point, NC.
John was a longtime owner of Yow’s Bicycle in Wilmington, NC. He persevered through a growing city and kept his shop running for many years.
John is survived by his daughter Yuanita Alexis (Mohamed Ahnane) of Wilmington, NC, his brother Lonnie Yow (Connie) of Wilmington, NC, his grandchild Alexis Renee Rourk, and many other extended family members and friends. In addition to his aforementioned parents, John is predeceased by his wife of 64 years Clarine Yow, who passed on June 7, 2013.
