WILMINGTON — Patsy Coffey Young passed away peacefully on October 29th at Lower Cape Fear Hospice Care Center.
Patsy was born on July 3, 1938 to the late Collis and Hazel Coffey of Forsyth County, North Carolina. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Ketner and husband Roger.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years William (Bill) Young Jr., two sons, William (Sonny) Young and wife Fran, Eric and wife Missy. She is also survived by four very special grandchildren Kyle and wife Anna, Wesley, Parker and Conrad Young, all of Wilmington, NC. Additionally, she is survived by her sister Barbara Falls and husband Wayne along with several nephews and nieces.
She was most proud of her sons and her grandchildren and was known for her love and dedication to serving the Lord.
Visitation will be at Seagate Baptist Church on Wed., Nov. 3 from 10 AM. Celebration of Life will follow at 11 AM. Graveside will be at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery at 2 PM. (110 Montford Landing Road, Jacksonville, NC 285400)
