WILMINGTON — Jordan Nicole Wells, 21, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, July 25, 2021, due to a tragic mini bike accident.
Jordan was born at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington as a “millennium” baby on Jan. 1, 2000, to Kim and Glen Wells. Jordan grew up in Castle Hayne and enjoyed hunting and fishing with her father and brothers, playing softball, and anything that involved spending time with her mother, who she was very close with.
Jordan graduated from E.A. Laney High School in 2018 and spent her time since graduation working at Hudson’s Hardware; babysitting two boys that she loved, Liam and Lucian; expanding her passion and skills for photography, baking her family-famous, 16-layer cake for many events of family and friends; and spoiling her two dogs, Gracie and Bailey.
Jordan held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with all of those who surrounded her. There is no doubt that Jordan is now with Jesus in heaven forever more.
Jordan is survived by her parents, Kim and Glen Wells; boyfriend, Cody Daniel; four brothers, Caleb, and his wife, Brianna, Joshua, Jared and Levi; maternal grandparents, Judith and Charles Whitney; paternal grandmother, Pearlene Wells; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
There will be a visitation at 3 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 1, at Coastal Community Baptist Church, Wilmington, with a funeral service following at 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Coastal Community Baptist Church, where Jordan was an active member.
