SUNSET BEACH — William Charles Glynn, 74, died Monday, Jan. 11, 2021. He was born Dec. 28, 1946, in Rockville Centre, New York, a son of the late John Edward Glynn and Louise Lehmann Glynn.
He moved to Sunset Beach 18 years ago after retiring from a 30-plus-year career coaching and teaching in the Albany, New York, area.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John, James and Stephen.
Surviving are his loving wife, Marcia; daughter, Jennifer (Richard) Laird of West Palm Beach, Florida; son, Brian (Kelly) of Columbia, South Carolina; brother, Gerald (Patti) of Lynbrook, New York; sisters-in-law, Barbara (Charles) Vamossy of Peekskill, New York, and Adrienne, Suzy and Mary of Long Island, New York; many nieces and nephews; and the loves of his life, his grandchildren, Jack Laird, Liam and Willow Glynn.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, services will be private.
