WILMINGTON — Michael Allen Williamson Jr., 52, of the Hearthside community, passed away Friday, Dec. 4, 2020, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center after a short illness.
Michael was born Nov. 26, 1968, in Wilmington to Michael Allen Williamson and Brenda Faye Nance Williamson. He was preceded in death by his father; paternal grandparents, Inman and Blanche Williamson; and maternal grandparents, Paul and Wincey Nance.
He was graduate of the Class of 1987 at New Hanover High School and went on to receive a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
Surviving are his mother, Brenda W. Snipes, and her husband, Larry; brother, John Williamson, and his wife, Leila Garris; niece, Molly Williamson; and nephew, Cole Williamson.
