WILMINGTON—The STARZ series “Hightown” continues to film its second season in Wilmington, NC, and is in need of actors to portray fishermen in an upcoming shoot on Dec. 14.
TW Cast and Talent is in need of male actors only, all ethnicities, but especially of Latin American/Spanish descent, according to the agency.
Extras must be over 18 years of age and will be paid the standard $64 per eight-hour day, then time-and-a-half over the eighth hour. Everyone booked for the show must complete a Covid-19 test 72 hours ahead of the shoot, as scheduled by the production’s Covid team. A $20 bump is paid for every test taken in relation to the series.
“Hightown” comes from executive producer Rebecca Cutter (“Gotham,” “The Mentalist”) and follows the story of a National Marine Fisheries officer (Monica Raymund), who begins to investigate why a body washed up in Provincetown, MA. The show explores Officer Jackie Quiñones’ battle with alcoholism and drugs, as well as highlights the opioid epidemic a small town faces.
