CAROLINA BEACH — Dale Ann Pilla, 63, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2020, at her residence. She was born Dec. 20, 1956, in New Jersey, the daughter of the late Alan and Charlotte Davidson.
Dale was survived by her children, Tommy, Matthew and Rachel Pilla; as well as her brothers, Brad, and his wife, Becky Davidson, and Daniel, and his wife, Maria Davidson. In addition to her family, Dale is also survived by her beloved cat, Marley.
Dale graduated receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, but she spent her days as a real estate agent focused on selling beach properties. Dale absolutely loved what she did, and she was invested in all her clients. She moved to Carolina Beach in 2017 in a historic house that she put her whole heart in to restore. She was so proud of her home and as a real estate agent — her focus was to find her clients a place to make them just as happy as she was. It goes without saying that when it comes to buying a house, she would want everyone to remember “location, location, location!”
In true Dale fashion, we chose not to mourn her loss, but celebrate her life. The family will hold a gathering from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Oct. 10, at Hamlet Avenue Beach Access, Carolina Beach. The family plans to give a speech at 10:45 a.m., so please bring a beach chair and come hang out and celebrate Dale’s life. After the celebration, the family plans to have a small private gathering.
Share online condolences with the family at Andrews Mortuary & Crematory.
