WILMINGTON — Kathy Koonce Driggers, born Monday, June 22, 1959, in Robeson County, to the late Willie and Vera Koonce, passed away Friday, Sept. 18, 2020, at her residence surrounded by her loving family, completing her journey of 61 years.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her companion, Charles Justice.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories; one son: Dennis Wayne; two daughters Priscilla Driggers, and her wife, Jennifer, and Belinda Driggers; three brothers, James Koonce, Dewey Smith and Arnold Smith; sister, Vicky Koonce; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; caretaker, Cecil Blue; along with a host of relatives and friends.
A time of visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to noon, Thursday, Sept. 24, at the Calvary Cornerstone Holiness Church, 337 S. Elizabeth St., St. Pauls. A funeral service will be conducted at noon, Thursday, Sept. 24, at the church with Dr. David Hodge officiating. Burial will follow services in the Justice Family Cemetery, St. Pauls.
