HAMPSTEAD — Joseph Paul Mattlin, 48, passed away suddenly Thursday, Sept. 17, 2020.
He was born Nov. 8, 1971, in Meadville, Pennsylvania, to Joseph and Diane (Pontillo) Mattlin. He was a 1990 graduate of E.A. Laney High School in Wilmington and pursued a career in the highway construction industry.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Daniel J. Mattlin (Amy) of Hampstead; nieces, Peyton and Leila Mattlin; maternal grandfather, Paul R. Pontillo of Meadville, Pennsylvania; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends residing in Florida, Ohio, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Kansas.
A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
