WILMINGTON — Pastor Clarence E. Shavers, 77, passed away Thursday, Sept. 17, 2020.
His love and memories will remain in the heart of his wife, Shirley Shavers of the home; children, Wilma Y. Gilliam (Douglas) of Newark, New Jersey, Sjon Shavers (Gussie) of Leesburg, Virginia, Sjenair “Guy” Shavers of Weston, Florida, and Vera Shavers of Wilmington; sister, Catherine Shavers West of Wilmington; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 25, at Davis Funeral Home, 901 S. 5th Ave., Wilmington. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 26, at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1311 Shipyard Blvd., Wilmington.
