NAVASSA — Ronald Carl Mapson, 67, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020.
His love and memories will remain in the heart of his mother, Gladys B. Mapson; siblings, Linda M. Mosley, Dixie L. Mapson III (Patricia), Otis A. Mapson (Peggy), Kathy R. Wright (Kenneth Sr.), Cordette F. Dalton and Dana M. Mapson, all of Leland; aunts, Nellie Andrews, Jackie Ballard (his special riding companion) and Minnie Brown; uncle, L. Bobby Brown (Ruby); godmother, Beatrice Kinston; godchildren, Damian Jennings and Ronnie Ballard Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be held from 3 to 5 p.m., Saturday, July 25, at Davis Funeral Home, 901 S. 5th Ave., Wilmington. A celebration of Mr. Mapson’s life will be conducted at noon, Sunday, July 26, at Davis Funeral Home, 901 S. 5th Ave., Wilmington. Interment will follow in Meares Cemetery, Navassa.
