WILMINGTON — Garland D. Wilson, 65, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2020.
His love and memories will remain in the hearts of his siblings, Elsie Wilson Clark, Warren Wilson (Brenda) and Jarvis Wilson, all of Wilmington, Marvin Wilson of Leland and Terry Mallette of Winston-Salem; aunts, Frances McCloud of Bishopville, South Carolina, Mary Alice Champagne of Orange, New Jersey, and Sarah Lewis (Bobby) of Roselle, New Jersey; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
A celebration of Mr. Wilson’s life will be conducted at 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 22, at Davis Funeral Home, 901 S. 5th Ave., Wilmington. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Calvary Memorial Cemetery. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, while attending the services, please adhere to the guidelines for social distancing. It is mandatory that proper face masks be worn.
