SOUTHPORT — Harold John Thompson, 89, formerly of Feasterville, Pennsylvania, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2020. Harold was born Aug. 15, 1930, in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, to the late Harold and Theresa Thompson.
In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his brother, Albert Thompson; and sister, Ruth Booth.
Harold is survived by his wife of 69 years, Catherine Kelley Thompson; sons Harold Thompson Jr., Mark (Elaine) Thompson, David (Patricia) Thompson, Michael (Linda) Thompson and Christopher (Karen) Thompson; daughter, Kathleen Thompson; and 18 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Harold and his wife were members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Southport. He was an avid woodcarver and enjoyed building and racing automobiles. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
