NEW HAVEN, Connecticut — Elsie Maurice Hardy-Murrill, 71, formerly of Leland, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2020.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathaniel Lee Murrill.
Her love and memories will remain in the hearts of her children, Fredrick Eugene Murrill and Nicole Murrill, both of New Haven, Connecticut; siblings, Allen M. Hardy of Covington, Georgia, Vivian G. Hardy of Wilmington and Evelyn V. Hardy of Leland; and a host of other relatives and friends. Per the governor’s order, no more than 50 people may gather.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m., Monday, May 18, at Davis Funeral Home, 901 S. 5th Ave., Wilmington. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 p.m. at New Hope Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery, 88 Snowfield Road S.E., Leland.
