BOLTON — Mr. James Carson “Jimmy” Kirkland Jr., 60, passed Monday, April 13, 2020. He was born March 31, 1960, the son of the late James Carson Kirkland Sr. and Stella Freeman Ikner.
He was a foreman with S&G Concrete for many years. Jimmy was a loving husband, father and brother.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Kay Dolfax Kirkland; parents; and sister, Sheila Dorene Kirkland.
He is survived by his daughters, Raven Whispering Hope Kirkland and Carrie Lee Bright Sky Kirkland, both of Wilmington; brother, Gene Autry Ikner Jr., and his wife, Michelle, of Rocky Point; sister, Cathy Darlene Kirkland of Wilmington; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Out of respect for our family and friends, due to the unique circumstances of travel restrictions and health concerns, a private service will be held.
