WILMINGTON — Mildred Patricia “Pat” Craig, 77, passed away peacefully Monday, Sept. 23, 2019, at North Chase Rehabilitation & Nursing Center.
Pat, as she was known to family and friends, was the daughter of the late Carolan Thompson Craig Sr. and Mildred Andrews Craig.
She is survived by her brothers, Carolan Thompson “Tommy” Craig, Jr. (Millie) of Wilmington and Richard Andrews “Ricky” Craig of Jacksonville, Florida; and nieces, Carolyn Marie Craig (Mary) of Winnabow and Rebecca Dawn Potter (Chuck) of Sneads Ferry. In addition, she is survived by her grand-nieces and great-grand-nieces and nephews, Heather Reynolds, Michael Potter, T.J. “Jim” Craig, Skyler Durham, Major Bryant, Pearla Bryant and Adrianna Potter.
Pat enjoyed crocheting, drawing and painting, watching Pro Football, but her favorite pastimes were making people smile and laugh, and spoiling children. She never missed giving birthday wishes to anyone she knew, even if she had to call early to make sure she did not miss it. She will be missed by many.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m., Friday, Sept. 27, at Andrews Mortuary’s Market Street Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Paws Place Dog Rescue, P.O. Box 67, Winnabow, NC 28479.
Share online condolences with the family at Andrews Mortuary & Crematory.
