
WILMINGTON — Barbara Ann Mashakas Eisley, 77, passed away peacefully Sunday, Aug. 18, 2019, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to the late Stanley and Mary Margaret Mashakas. Barbara’s life revolved around her family. She loved watching her sons play ball, spending time with her grandchildren, crocheting, playing computer games, and watching tennis, wrestling, and game shows — particularly Wheel of Fortune.
Her favorite quote was, “Great women raise great women who raise great women.”
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Edward Edmonds Sr.
Left to remember her are her husband, Lewis Eisley; sons, Robert Edmonds Jr., and his wife, Cyndi, and Edward S. Edmonds, and his wife, Tammy; daughters, Kimberly A. Fields, and her husband, Mark, Mary M. Eisley and Vicki Ahner; brother, Stanley Mashakas Jr., and his wife, Donna; grandchildren, Robert E. Edmonds III, and his fiancé, Tiffany, Ryan A. Edmonds, Keri E. Collins, and her husband, Hynef, Kelsi E. Wilder, and her husband, Bradley, Robin L. Edmonds, Hannah C. Edmonds, Mark A. Fields Jr., and his wife, Brittany, Tyler Fields, Alyssa G. Fields, and her fiancé, Ryan, and Scott B. Heffelfinger; great-grandchildren, Leena, Airlie, Diana, Eddie, Paisley and Amoura; as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 24, at her home, 401 Endicott Court, Wilmington.
