ASH — Mark Mittchell Bennett Sr., 52, died Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at his home.
Mr. Bennett was born Feb. 21, 1967, in Brunswick County, son of Peggy Jean Krimminger Harrelson of Ash and the late Sammy Bennett.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife, Sandra Davis Bennett of the home; two sons, Mark Mittchell Bennett Jr. and Matthew Bennett; two stepsons, Teddy Crouch and Billy Crouch; two stepdaughters, Jennifer Crouch and Veronica Crouch; sister, Cindy Stevens; and brother, James Bennett.
Mark was always full of life and loved working in the outdoors. He will always be remembered as a loving and caring person and will never be forgotten.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, June 24, at Griffin Cemetery, Ash, with the Rev. Bill Negron officiating.
