COLUMBIA, South Carolina — Russle Lee Thames, 60, formerly of Wilmington, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2019.
Those left to cherish his memories are his stepfather, Norman Lee Toliver of Wilmington; brothers, Kevin B. Lenning (Renee) of West Lawn, Pennsylvania, and Cargle Thames (Jeneata) of Queens, New York; sister, Cleo Toliver of Columbia, South Carolina; nieces, Antoinette N. Mumford (Nettie) of Columbia, South Carolina, Sonja Lenning of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Tamara Van Meter of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; nephew, Brendan W. Lenning of West Lawn, Pennsylvania; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Mr. Thames’ life will be conducted at noon, Wednesday, June 5, at Davis Funeral Home, 901 S. 5th Ave., Wilmington. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Calvary Memorial Cemetery.
