SOUTHPORT — Ms. Lillie Mae Thompson, 80, passed away Friday, April 12, 2019.
She is survived by her children, Saundra Roberts of St. Pauls, Everette Roberts of Southport, Eunice Young of Boiling Springs, Kenneth Roberts of Oak Island and Oscar Roberts Jr. of Bolivia; sisters, Katherine Hill and Addie McCracken of Southport; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
A celebration of Ms. Thompson’s life will be conducted at noon, Saturday, April 20, at Brown’s Chapel AME Zion Church, 745 Jabbertown Road, Southport. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in John N. Smith Cemetery.
