LELAND — John F. Baldwin Sr., 91, passed away Monday, Jan. 14, 2019.
He is survived by his daughters, Sheila Baldwin of Leland and Doris Smith (Fredrick) of Waldorf, Maryland; sons, John F. Baldwin Jr. of New London, Connecticut, Alton Baldwin (Annie) of Leland, Marvin Baldwin and Timothy Baldwin, both of Charlotte, and Steven Baldwin (Tammy) of Leland; brother, Arthur Baldwin of Summerset, New Jersey; 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 17, at Davis Funeral Home, 901 S. 5th Ave., Wilmington. A celebration of Mr. Baldwin’s life will be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 18, at Johnson Chapel AME Zion Church, 1882 Lincoln Road NE, Leland. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
