WILMINGTON — Sandra Moore Bost, 73, passed away peacefully Monday, Dec. 24, 2018, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. She was born Feb. 20, 1945, in Wilmington, the daughter of the late James Barner Moore and Annie Lou Barnett Moore.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Betty Moore Ramsey; and granddaughter, McKenna Grace Bost.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Nat Bost; son, Latty Bost, and his wife, Allyson; daughter, Tara Bost Denson, and her husband, Andy; sister, Pat Moore Brown, and her husband, Wilbur; and grandsons, Connor Bost, Tanner Denson and Cameron Bost.
Sandra graduated from New Hanover High School, Class of 1963. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and enjoyed fulfilling careers in advertising with The Bost Agency and later owning and operating The Bridal Boutique.
A memorial service to celebrate Sandra’s life will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019, at Lake Forest Baptist Church, 1626 Lake Branch Drive, Wilmington, with Latty Bost officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to services at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association or a charity of one’s choice.
