LELAND — Patricia Ann Fowler Spivey, 70, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018.
She was born Sept. 8, 1948, in Wilmington to the Rev. George W. Fowler and Cecil Gainey Fowler. She was a retired certified nursing assistant at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
She is survived by her children, Jeffrey Lee Wood, and his wife, Sherrie, of Columbia, Kentucky, and Jonathan David Wood of Leland; two sisters, Linda Brown (Roy) of Richlands and Cheri Bundy (Wayne) of Castle Hayne; brother, George “Buddy” Fowler Jr. (Joanne) of Currie; two grandchildren, Hope Humphrey (Cameron) and Faith Pope (Aaron); and one great-grandson, Brayden Pope.
She was preceded in death by a son, Justin Everette Wood on May 12, 2016.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 25, at Federal Point Pentecostal Church, 629 Piner Road, Wilmington.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Federal Point Pentecostal Church.
