New Hanover County accepting applications for boards and committees

NEW HANOVER COUNTY — One area government is hoping to attract volunteers to its multiple boards and committees, now in need of people to serve the community.

From the Hispanic/Latino Commission to The Healing Place Board of Directors, vacancies are open on eight boards.

Interested New Hanover County residents only can apply for appointment, as approved by the county commissioners. Applications are due on April 1 and will be considered April 20. They are available at the New Hanover County Government Center, located at 230 Government Center Drive, or online here
