WILMINGTON — Judith “Judy” Hamilton Faulk, 69, of Wilmington, passed from her earthly life on Thursday, March 5, 2026.
She was born March 15, 1956, in Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of the late David Addison Hamilton and the late Hazel Clark Hamilton.
Judy was talented and anything she set out to do, she did well. She was an accomplished baker, decorator, and gardener. The thing she loved to do the most was hairstyling; the reward was customers over the years who became her friends. But the greatest thing was “The Beach Day” with her closest friends, laughter and love. She will be greatly missed.
Judy is survived by her son, Eric Stephen Faulk; her sister, Andrea Schwartz; her grandson, Cole B. Lewis; her granddaughter, Haven Lewis; dedicated and much-loved friends, Lisa Fascella Faulk, Jennifer Cohen, Ira Swartz, Terry Bennett, Phyllis Faulk, Lisa Marie Faulk, Sherry Dunker, and Leslie Milanese.
In addition to her parents, Judy was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Stephen Faulk; her daughter, Julie Faulk-Lewis; her brothers, David C. Hamilton, Roger D. Hamilton USMC (MIA, Vietnam, 1967).
A Celebration of Life will be at 5:00 pm on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home in Wilmington. The family will receive friends following the service for one hour.
