Jennifer LeAnn Smith Long, 33, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018. She was born May 18, 1985, to William Smith Jr. (Mary) and Lisa Provencher Dean (Leroy).
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Tommy Merritt; and paternal grandmother, Diane Smith.
Jennifer was a loving mother, daughter, sister and granddaughter. Her family was her heart.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her four children, Justin, Ethan, A.J. and Kyra; husband, Derek Long; brothers, Kevin Smith, Tyler Smith, Jeremy Monahan, Josh Beutler and Alex Dean; sisters, Lauren Brantley (Nick) and Hannah Monahan; maternal grandmother, Betty Merritt; paternal grandfather, Randall Smith; as well as, aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 11, at Castle Hayne Advent Christian Church, 2710 Hermitage Road, Castle Hayne. Visitation with family to immediately follow the service.
