WILMINGTON — After a long, happy life filled with family, friends, music and Manhattans, Mary Grace (Trix) Cohan, 96, passed peacefully Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018, following a short illness at NHRMC, Wilmington.
She is survived by her husband of over 70 years, William D. Cohan; six children and their spouses, Dan and Cathy, Pat and Pam, Marty and Patti, Mary Kay and Mike Crescimanno, Ann and Mark Orders and Christa Cullen, 10 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and two honorary daughters, K.D.R. and A.J.D.
Mary lived most of her life in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. She received the degrees of Bachelor of Science in 1945, Master of Science in 1946 and Master of Arts in Library Science in 1976, all from the University of Michigan. She spent the past nine years in Wilmington. Mary was an incredible wife, mother, friend and role model who was dearly loved and will be fondly remembered.
