Eveline Elisabeth Davis, 89, passed away Monday, Oct. 1, 2018, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice Care Center.
She was born in Germany to the late Otto and Ilse Rudert Knackstedt. Eveline married Clarence Allen Davis and lived with him in the United States. They had a son, Randy Lee Davis, together before Clarence died in an accidental shooting while working as a Wilmington police officer on June 24, 1971.
Eveline is survived by her son, Randy Lee Davis, and friend, Paul Aycock.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 4, at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home in Wilmington. She will be buried in Greenlawn Memorial Park in a private service.
