WILMINGTON — Karen Jean Auger, 70, died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
She was born April 18, 1948, in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, to the late Kenneth J. Frye Sr. and Marilyn Glockner Frye.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard F. Auger Sr., in 2015; and son, Dean Auger, in 2010.
Survivors include her sons, Richard F. Auger Jr., and his wife, Ann Marie, and Randie Auger; grandchildren, Jessie Bricker, Joanne Kiely, Richard Auger III, Kayla Auger and Andrew Auger; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth Frye Jr.; and six nieces.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 25, at Andrews Market Street Chapel, 1617 Market St., Wilmington.
