Sally Bett Willis Miller, 73, utilized talents while bringing comfort and health to others

Sally Bett Willis Miller, 73, left this earth Friday, May 25, 2018, to be in heaven with Jesus. She passed away following a brief battle with cancer.

Sally Bett was born May 23, 1945, in Morehead City to the late James Belmont Willis Sr. and Cora Ward Willis.

Sally was also preceded in death by her beloved brothers, James Belmont Willis Jr. and Barry Ward Willis.

Sally was a devoted follower of Christ who was well known for her great faith, her encouragement of others and her free-flowing and contagious laughter. She spent over 50 years sowing into the lives of others through her career as a nurse, most recently in behavioral health at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

She is survived by her four children, Monty Miller, and his wife, Stephanie, Wyndi Miller, Stacey Miller, and his wife, Montica, and Leslie Miller Hills, and her husband, Dave; grandchildren, Josh and Savannah, Jeremy and Hannah-Grace Miller, Jadon Miller, Niklas, Jaxxon, Sofia and Zakk Hills, and Christian, Caleb, Joshua and Jacob Miller; and one great-grandson, Ryder Miller.

The family will receive friends and family from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 30, at Andrews Mortuary, College Road, Wilmington. A private memorial service and interment will be held in her hometown of Morehead City at a later date.
