SUNSET BEACH — Mildred Faye Evans, 77, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018.
Mildred was born Feb. 25, 1940, in Horry County, S.C., to the late Joseph and Lizzie McLamb. She was a homemaker.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Ricky Buffkin (Frances) of Ocean Isle Beach and Dale Buffkin of Sunset Beach; daughters, Debbie Smith (Alan) of Marathon, Fla., Brenda Duncan of Spring Hill, Fla., and Dinah Mills of Tabor City, N.C.; and nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be conducted at 1 p.m., Thursday, January 18, with a visitation one hour prior to services, at Thomasboro Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Dallas Byrd officiating. Casket bearers include James Buffkin, Bradley Buffkin, Roy Mills, Steven Cumbie, Alvin Duncan and Glenn Davis.
