WILMINGTON — Gladys “Hun” Trapp Jeffery, 80, passed away Monday, Dec. 4, 2017. She was born Aug. 15, 1937, to the late Howard and Minnie Trapp.
Hun was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Everyone who knew Hun knew how kind and loving she was. She lived her life to the fullest and left this earth peacefully. She will be missed by everyone.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Jeffery Jr.
Surviving are her four children, son, Anthony “Vaughn” Jeffery (Paula), Renee M. Kelly (daughter), Christopher “Chris” Jeffery (son) and Tyrone P. Jeffery (son); grandchildren, Kempus B. Kelly, De’sha M. Bonner, Crystal I. Jones, Zachary P. Jeffery and Alexis N. Seay; and great-grandchildren, Dion M. Bonner Jr., Dayanna M. Bonner, Denee M. Bonner, Orion K. Kelly and Eden R. Jeffery. Also surviving are her siblings, Willie Mae Bell, Dr. Rosa Lee Trapp-Dail, George Trapp, Betty Nixon, Dorothy “Dot” King, Shirley McQueen and Larry Trapp.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 9, at at Lake Forest Baptist Church, 1626 Lake Branch Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
