Leaston Hardy ‘L.H.’ Easterling, 76, passed away Monday, Nov. 13, 2017, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eliza Lewis Easterling and James Easterling; and daughters, Renee and Wendi Easterling. He is survived by his wife, Joan Easterling; children, Jonathan of Georgia, Robin of Georgia, Leaston J. “Lea J.” and Rose of North Carolina; brother, John J. Easterling of Michigan; sister, Rose Marie Chastain of Georgia; grandchildren, Adreana Garrett of Florida, Dalton Robinson of Nebraska and Christa Tracy of Wyoming; and great-grandchildren, Delani and Nataniel Robinson of Nebraska.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 17, at Wilmington Funeral Chapel, 1535 S. 41st St., Wilmington. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 18, at Wilmington Funeral Chapel with interment to follow in Oleander Memorial Gardens.
