Helen Tippett Becker, 91, was a righteous and diplomatic soul who always had something clever to say. She is remembered for her lively spirit and the stubbornness that came with it.
It is sad to lose her, but her laughter will live on.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Becker; son, Eric Becker; and daughter, Wendy Smith.
She is survived by her grandson, Brett Smith.
May she rest in heaven.
Memorial services will be held at noon Saturday, Oct. 7, at Seagate Baptist Church, 6115 Oleander Drive, Wilmington.
