Greenville, S.C. — Jerry Buren Yopp, formerly of Wilmington, N.C., died Sunday Oct. 1, 2017.
He was born Dec. 8, 1930, son of the late John and Ida Murray Yopp and was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Grant Yopp; and son, Joseph Yopp.
Jerry was a retired cabinet maker.
Surviving are his children, Linda Chatfield, and her husband, Kevin, Danny Yopp, and his wife, Ann, Richard Yopp, Andrew Yopp, Rebecca Yopp and Angela Yopp; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 4, at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., prior to services, at the funeral home.
