Edith Johnson Hege, 75, of Ash, died Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015 at SECU Hospice House of Brunswick.
Born in Davidson County on Jan. 9, 1940 she was the daughter of the late Irvin and Georgia Johnson. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Donald B. Hege; sisters, Judy Lomax and Joyce Johnson; and brothers, Jack Johnson and Bob Johnson.
Surviving are sons Donald R. Hege (Joyce) of Ash, Joseph D. Hege (Amy) of Loris, South Caroling; daughters Sabrina Todd of Shallotte, Donna Moore of Ash, Stacey Sierra of Ash; and sisters Ruth Byrley, Dottie Riblen and Evelyn Dorsett, all from Lexington.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 14 at Brunswick Funeral Service. A private burial will be held at Midway Baptist Church in Lexington.
