Leeather Gause Gore, of Calabash, died at home on Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015, at the age of 78.
The viewing will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, 2015, at the chapel of Peoples Funeral Home of Shallotte. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015, at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 8950 Ocean Hwy W., Calabash, NC 28467. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery in Sunset Beach.
Mrs. Gore is survived by her three daughters, Margie Williams, of Supply, Linda Brown, of Sunset Beach and Stephanie Green, of Calabash; two sons, John Covell Gore, of Longs, South Carolina and Michael Gore, of Longwood; one sister, Bernice Marlow, of Calabash; two brothers, the Rev. Dr. Freeman Gause, of Carolina Shores and Joseph Sapps, of Calabash; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
