Damon Eugene Padgett, of Wilmington, died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014, at the age of 46.
Damon was born on March 28, 1968, in Alamance County. He was a fun-loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He always had a smile on his face.
Damon was preceded in death by his father, Gene Padgett. He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Barnes, and stepfather, Robert Barnes; sisters, Karen Bordeaux and Jennifer Trujillio; brother, Robbie Barnes; and his numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
