Iris Ann Clinard Morris, 75, member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

Iris Ann Clinard Morris, a loving mother, wife and neighbor who did a lot of work for her church and lived in Boiling Spring Lakes, died Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, at SECU Hospice House in Bolivia. She was 75 years old.

Mrs. Morris was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a Dosher Hospital volunteer.

She was born Oct. 6, 1938, in Wilmington and was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Helen Pugh and her husband, Cliff Morris.

She is survived by her sons, Charles J. Daw, II, of Redondo Beach, Cali. and Ronald F. Daw, of Anaheim, Cali.; daughter, Debra Heaton, of Santa Ana, Calif.; brother, Richard Pugh, of Leland; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 8264 River Rd, Southport, NC 28461.
