Tony Kusta, Jr., 69, enjoyed his work as a tool and dye maker

imagesCAGE9BJ9Tony Kusta, Jr., formerly of Wilmington, died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, at home. He was 69.

He loved to fish, oyster and enjoyed his work as a tool and dye maker. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tony Kusta, Jr. and Letha Ann Sasser Durden and step-father, Homer Durden.

He is survived by his companion, Susan Kixmiller; daughter, Laura McCarthy and husband, Thomas; son, James Kusta and wife, Margaret; former wife, Betty Horrell Kusta; and grandchildren who he adored, Grace McCarthy and Anne McCarthy.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family asks that memorial donations be made to the American Autoimmune Related Diseases Association (AARDA), 22100 Gratiot Avenue, Eastpointe, MI 48021.
