WILMINGTON — The Leadership Wilmington class of 2026 through the Chamber of Commerce Foundation is seeking volunteers for the 20th annual Work on Wilmington, scheduled for April 18.
Work on Wilmington is the largest single-day volunteer event in the area, hosted by the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce. It runs from 8 a.m. to noon and covers projects across the city, with supplies provided to complete the work. Volunteers ages 12 and up are encouraged to sign up, and volunteers will receive a commemorative Work on Wilmington t-shirt. Sizes will be guaranteed for volunteers who sign up by Feb. 20.
This year, WOW is hoping to raise $120,000 from area businesses and sponsors to fund supplies and materials and recruit 1,000 local volunteers.
Volunteers can sign up here.
