WILMINGTON — In response to the extreme cold weather impacting the Cape Fear, Living Hope Day Center has expanded its hours of operation Monday through Wednesday, opening from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. this week to better serve individuals experiencing homelessness.

Living Hope Day Center will continue to monitor weather conditions and will evaluate the need for expanded hours for the following week. Any changes to hours of operation will be communicated as decisions are made.

Living Hope Day Center is a no-barrier-of-entry day shelter that welcomes all individuals experiencing homelessness. It provides a place to rest, meals, hot coffee, access to computers, and case management support.

Living Hope Day Center is currently located at 411 Market Street, with entry through the side door of First Baptist Church.
