$5 lottery scratch-off leads to $200K win for Wilmington man

WILMINGTON — A lucky Emerald 8s ticket purchased from a Speedway in Market Street has one Wilmingtonian hundreds of thousands of dollars richer.

Michael Guyton played the $5 scratch-off ticket and won the first $200,000 prize in the new game. Emerald 8s debuted in December and offers six top prizes.

Guyton claimed Monday his $142,501 cash out after state and federal taxes.
