A job fair next week has open positions across North Carolina. The new N.C. Department of Adult Corrections will host the event Dec. 13 at Wake Tech’s Scott Northern Wake Campus.
Candidates from outside the area or unable to travel to Raleigh may set up virtual interviews online.
Openings are available at facilities and work locations statewide for correctional officers, probation/parole officers, nursing, behavioral health, maintenance, and food service positions.
Sign-on bonuses up to $10,000 are available for certain jobs.
The new N.C. Department of Adult Corrections will open Jan. 1, 2023, and will offer competitive salaries and career pathways, along with overtime potential, and statewide employment benefits, such as health care, paid vacations and state retirement.
The hiring event will take place 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 6600 Louisburg Road in Raleigh. Parking is available in the Building D lot and the job fair is being held in Building E, atrium 210.
In-person candidate will have same-day interviews and possible job offers.
