NEW HANOVER COUNTY — The public will now be able to access information from the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office via smartphone.
Users will be able to access the contact page, tipline, news releases, inmate information, job postings, animal services, sex offender information and more on the app.
“Most everyone owns a smartphone, having our own app is a better way to alert, inform and prepare our community,” Sheriff Ed McMahon said in a press release. “The community will be the first to get information directly from the Sheriff’s Office.”
The app is available for free download in the App Store and Google Play by searching “New Hanover Sheriff, NC.”
