Police on the hunt for suspect in CVS robbery

WILMINGTON — The Wilmington Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating an individual suspected in the robbery of a pharmacy on Tuesday.

Around 8:50 p.m. on Oct. 25, WPD units were called to CVS Pharmacy at 3302 Market St., at the intersection of Covil Avenue. Law enforcement report a man walked into the store, wielded a knife and demanded money before fleeing with the cash.

Described as an African-American male in his mid-50s, the suspect was wearing a dark blue, long-sleeve pullover with a zipper and emblem on the left corner. He wore black pants and grey sneakers.

He was last seen on foot walking toward Covil Avenue in Wilmington.
