Man arrested downtown for 8 felony warrants

WILMINGTON — The Wilmington Police Department arrested a 44-year-old man over the weekend for eight felony warrants.

On Saturday, near 5:30 p.m., Clifford Dutton was detained in the 100 block of N. Front Street, according to a WPD release. After a search, officers located powder cocaine packaged for sale.

Dutton was charged with PWIMSD schedule II controlled substance, manufacture schedule II controlled substance, and PWIMSD within 1000 feet of a park. 

He has received a $500,000 secured bond and is being held at the NHCSO Detention Center.
