WILMINGTON — The Wilmington Police Department is investigating the crash of a vehicle into a nail salon on Oleander Drive early Tuesday.
The incident took place around 10:30 a.m., wherein WPD was dispatched to the 1900 block of Oleander Drive. A car drove through the parking lot and crashed into NC Nails, according to a release from WPD.
The driver is believed to have suffered from a medical condition; police reported there were no signs of impairment. The crash resulted in two non-life-threatening injuries; the salon owner and a customer were transported by EMS to Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
WPD are continuing to investigate the incident.
