WILMINGTON — Law enforcement arrested a 32-year-old female Friday during a traffic stop after finding multiple drugs and paraphernalia in her vehicle.
Wilmington Police Department officers pulled over Lacie Mehalko of Rocky Point in the 800 block of Harnett Street on Apr. 15. A release from the WPD note law enforcement searched the vehicle and located cocaine, heroin, and drug paraphernalia.
They charged Mehalko with:
- Possession of heroin
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Possession of cocaine
- PWISD Cocaine
- M/S/D/P CS within 1,000 ft. of a school
- Maintain vehicle controlled substance
Mehalko is being held at the NHCSO Detention Center under a $75,000 secured bond.
